Red light on, but tv won't turn on.

I have the exact tv model and the exact problem.. replaced bad caps and still the same problem. no voltage on the backlight plug. and the blinking red led on the board.

if you have back light replace inverter board if have replace T-con board

Capacitors are the little cans on the powerboard/mainboard. you are looking for numbers written on the caps XXV XXXUF.

Amazon will sell you a repair kit for your TV. Look at Link:

open the black plastic panel and the aluminum panel which has 3 screws each in the back of the tv.
look at bottom left corner of top board. to the right of the red led light,
there's these four white small switches. turn the bottom two switches to "on" and tv should be working.
It's very simple to fix the problem to everyone.
My tv capacitor was not the problem.

Yes I think that would be the problem, aswell as some dry (cracked solder joints). A bad cap is usually bulged on the top and looks like this:

Symptom shows that Mani Board is bad in your TLX-03210B Polaroid TV and need to be replaced. I do not see problem of capacitors in power supply board. Problem seems in system control section of TV that is located on main board.
