GBC CC85 I tried to turn my shreddar on and it doesn't come on, I have tried adjusting the top but nothing works

    I did check the power source and it is all okay and everything else in the office is working, including the phtotocopier that is plugged into the same power source. The power button is a switch so I cannot push it with force or hold it for a long time. Thanks for you help but I don't think this is the correct solution. Can you offer anything else.

Is the power indicator On? If not check your power source first. Check your main power cable. If its ok, check your fuse then. If all are ok. Try pressing the power button with force and longer time. Hope this fixes everything.

Royal 15mx does not automatically turn off when no paper is in feeding area
hi, Try resetting the shreddar, unplugging it waiting for about 20 seconds and then plugging back in. Check to make sure there is no paper or paper clips stuck in the shreddar, make sure the unit is properly mounted on bin, the overheat light isn't on is it? if none of this helps and you have a warranty on your shreddar now would be a good time ot call them as you might have a hardware problem. i hope this will be helpfull to you. please vote for me.

try resetting the shreddar, unplugging it waiting for about 20 seconds and then plugging back in. Hsm 225.2 jerks in & out 2-3cm and wont eat paper!
try oiling the cutters...this helps out with the shredding of paper...also make sure properly mounted on bin, try resetting the shreddar, unplugging it and then plugging back in...check to make sure no paper or anything stuck in shreddar and make sure no broken gears..if this doesn't work and your shreddar is under warranty it would be a good time to call the warranty company

Shredder will not work
try resetting the shreddar, unplugging it then plugging it back in, also is the unit properly mounted on the shredding bin? also you could try oiling the cutters to make the paper go through more easily....make sure no paper or papre clips are stuck in paper shreddar also....try it in reverse to see if anything is stuck...if this all fails if you hav ea warranty now would be a good time to call the warranty company

Motor runs but document will not feed into machine.
oil the cutters, make sure shreddar is mounted properly on the bin, reset the shreddar unplugging it and then plugging it back in, make sure the bin isn't full, if so then empty it.

The top shredder feed does not turn. but the bottom shredder bars do turn. I think I overloaded it. it overheated, then did not work again.
make sure no paper or paper clips are stuck..if so removed the paper and if it's full empty the bin. Also if the shreddar overheated....wait about 15-20 minutes then try shredding again...you could always try oiling the cutters to make sure paper go through easier....i hope this helps..if this doesn't work and your under warranty call the warranty company
