More than likely on that model, the mirrors as you call it will not get dirty it is sealed. If the glass appears foggy, that does not affect the quality of you scans generally.Alot of the newer scanners create that on the glass. And frequently the new replacemtn scanners have that too.

The scans come out bright pink. Is there a way to fix this?

If the led scan lens is dirty or dusty this can cause a read error. this might be your problem. If you can look at the scan section the glass might need cleaning or the mirror/scanner lens. If you let me know the model I may be able to help.

White lines in photos. Almost like waves. Video mode works fine.

Your sensor might got damaged or dusty. Remove the lens, flip the mirror to discover the sensor. Clean it with very soft brush. It must work if not take it to the service center.

Faint printouts

It is caused by dusty mirrors in the laser/scanner assy.
The dust is occures because of the main fan located at the bottom.
Take the printer apart and clean the mirrors. Then seal the vents of the fan with adhesive tape.
