Question about GE 27901FE1 24 GHz 1Line Cordless Phone

This question is about the Model 27901 Ser. 2.4 GHz Cordless Telephone. I really like this phone, especially the design. I have an owners manual, but can't find the answer to my problem. The red light on the front is supposed to blink when I have voice mail. However, it won't blink, now, when I have voice mail. Can that be fixed?

SOURCE: base keeps blinking, and phone says new voice

try unplugging the base to reset it. That voicemail signal is set on or off by your phone service provider. Check with them to see if a: you have v-mail or b: they can reset it

You need the model #. Go to uniden.com and look in customer service/manuals. They may have it to download.

Want to disable Messaging on AT&T model 2462 2.4 GHZ 2 line Phone

AT&T's telephone website has manuals (in pdf form) for a vast selection of AT&T/Lucent branded consumer telephone products.

According to page 31, there is a button on the base that will allow you to disable the answering machine for each individual telephone line.
