1st You download Webcam Driver.

After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Argox list another driver for windows7 - it is the seagull driver and is available from the Argox product support pages - go to http://www.argox.com/content.php?sno=0000033&P_ID=23 click on the drivers tab and you will see it there.

Its possible that your cam's software/drivers is not supported on windows 7.

First uninstall the installed driver. After uninstalling, right-click on the setup of driver and click on- "Properties". The dialog box will open on which you have to click on "Compatibility" tab.

On that tab, check on the box- "Run this program on compatibility mode for-" and select "Vista" from the drop down box.

This will surely fix your problem.

If you cant get updated drivers from Acer you could get the generic Windows7 drivers direct from Realtek for your AC97 Codec software (Beware some functions may not be suported by your system mother board)

click on 'drivers', then download the 3.03 driver, it should work with win7.

Here is how to Install them so they work. Download your XP driver you wish to install. If it's in a zip/rar file then extract it to your desktop. You should have a simple .exe file sitting on your desktop to install the drivers, as normal for XP. Right click the .exe file and select "Properties". Then select the tab called "Compatibility" Now check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Make sure "Windows XP Service Pack 2" is highlighted. Now apply the settings and run the installer. This should work for most drivers, but not all. make sure you install and run all.any programs as Administrator.
