Some XP programs incompatable with Vista; you may have to upgrade UFT...had this prob with a lot of my high $ programs....loaded XP on 2nd HDD, and use it for non-Vista compatable programs.
just try to install the drivers then the computer would tell you that its not compatible with the vista and exits the installation. after some times a window will appear that will tell you either to re-install the driver or the driver is installed successfully, click on reinstall software and vista will accept the drivers this time. try with all drivers.
Your computer is a good one, so is Roxio a good software. but it seems like a compatability problem. Roxio likes Vista, but does windows like Roxio? I would run a compatability test, windows will do it free.
which applications are not compatible? Do you try to run them in compatibility mode set at windows XP? You may install VMWare Server to run a virtual machine XP from Vista without dual boot, allowing running XP and Vista at the same time, its easy to install/configure, need a good computer with 2Gb ram min.
use lower version of windows eg 2000, got the trouble too tried this sent you this thro such connection. Vista prompts me to restart each time I attempt connection- wont the chaps say a word? DAVID
your lg shine should have come with its own software and cable to let you use these options but be very careful all lg shine software is NOT compatable with windows vista as i have just found out!!!
Go to sounds in shine menu click options. make new folder call mps. Then plug usb cable into phone whilst phone is on go to windows explorer open my comp disc g or h this should show documents etc for lg go to sounds open and you will see your new folder drag and drop mp3 to here.Thats it..It works on mine ok.
