Hi

PUKs, or personal unblocking keys, are used to unblock a mobile phone which becomes blocked. Mobile phones may become blocked when a PIN (personal identification number) is entered incorrectly on three consecutive occasions. In some instances, the phone may become blocked, which requires a PUK to unblock it, and in other instances, the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card itself becomes blocked and again will require a PUK to unblock it.
Mobile phones are also blocked when they are reported stolen and if there is an outstanding payment on the account.

You will have to ring your service provider and ask for your PUK code

Hope this helps !!!

My son put in my sim code and blocked my sim tells me i need a puk lock im on o2 and have a samsung g600 mei number 353882/o2/177238/3 can you help please

For your PUK code Please contact your service provider. The PIN code supplied with the SIM card protects the card against unauthorised use. The PIN2 code supplied with some SIM cards is required to access certain services. If you enter PIN or PIN2 code incorrectly three times in succession, you are asked for the PUK or PUK2 code. If you do not have them, contact your service provider. The module PIN is required to access the information in the security module of your SIM card. The signing PIN may be required for the digital signature. The barring password is required when using the call barring service. To set= how your phone uses the access codes and security settings, select Menu> Settings> Security.

I unlocked a samsung sgh g600,which is fine, but if you turn the phone off and on again it ask for a password which i dont have. so you have to unlock it all over again, can you help? Regards. Chris.

As you have not specified which code you need i am hereby giving how to get all of the codes:

NETWORK UNLOCK CODE:

You can unlock it by flashing your mobile if your mobile is a CDMA mobile...
The procedure for flashing your mobile is in the link below
http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Flash-your-cell-phone
It has an video explanation.

If your mobile is not an CDMA mobile , you can get the network unlock code(NUC) by just contacting the current network provider customer caredepartment. It is free of cost.

Therestrictioncodecan be got from your old service provider..This restriction code iskeptto prevent someone who stole themobile from using it withanotherprovider...

They will have a security check done with your date of birth etc..to verify whether you are the exact owner of the phone..

After that they will provide you the restriction code to unlock it and use it with another service provider..

It is all free of cost donot pay anyone for this seeing some advertisement over internet . That is all fake ads.

The above proceudre works and you can verify that by seeing the rating of an happy customer here..

PUK CODE:

PUK code can be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number.
Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no. If you cant contact through your phone get some other phone and contact them.
Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you.
There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider cangive it nobody else in this world nor any software.
Go to the below link and you can confirm that the above procedure works and there is a testimonial given by the customer too. http://www.fixya.com/support/t3582685-phome_lg_ke670_put_security_code_phone

PIN CODE:

HI If you are asking for pin contact your service provider , he will give you a default pin .

If you try pin more than few predefined no of times your phone will ask PUK code which can also be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number . Do not try PUK(new pin code) code many times or else your sim will be blocked and you will need a new sim.

Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no.

Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you.

There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider can give it nobody else in this world nor any software.

SECURITY CODE:

If it is lost nothing can be done. You need to flash your mobile at an authorised service centre which will reset the mobile memory and also all the data inside the mobile will be lost.

I cant remember my security pin on my samsung g600 and I wanted to know if there is a way of bypassing or resetting it without damaging my phone?

Hi,
PIN CODE is SIM dependenet and not phone dependent

PUK code in PIN UNLOCKING CODE, which is required when you give PIN number wrongly for 3 times,
This code is OPERATOR specific and not phone specific and you have to call you operator and get PUK if PIN is blocked...

if you provide PUK code wrongly for 7 time, you sim may become useless, then you have to buy new SIM

NOTE: You should ask your service provider, get the PUK, give the PIN 3 times wrongly and it asks for PUk,provide the PUK and set the new PIN..

only the network service provider can give u the puk code.
u need to call the customer care from any mobile ,same as of ur network,
talk to customer care executive, he will ask u to give the sim card number, a 16 digit number written on one side of the sim, then the customer care executive will tell u the puk number.
