Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Mp3 player thinks it is full and I can't delete or paste.

I have this generic mp3 player which came with instructions in chinese. It has a delete all feature, but that doesn't seem to work. I have deleted music files, but it has not released the space. I am afraid to reformat, but if I can't figure out how to fix it, I might have to.

Actually, I was accessing it through my computer, which also thought it was 94% full. This morning I reformated the drive, and all is well.

Cannot delete musice from iriver h10 need to know how

I presume that you are running the original firmware with windows media player to add your music.

There is an option on the Sync screen to delete.

Let me know if you are not using WPM to add your track to your h10

Delete songs

If it is an iPod, you can delete through iTunes. If it is a generic MP3 player, try hooking it up to your PC and see if you can view it as an external drive. You can then delete the data (songs).

How do you delete music off mp3 player to put other music on?

Most players will not allow you to delete from the player itself - you will have to go into Windows Media Player on your computer (with the Mp3 player plugged into the computer, of course) and delte from there. I do not have your model # or manufacturer name, so this is generic advice. some Mp3 players use software other than Windows Media Player for deleting songs. It's best to check your user's manual.
