The Optima line of staplers do not work without jamming continuously unless you use the Optima brand staples. They can be found in the store next to the Optima staplers in a rectangular silver box, and will solve you problem instantly. There is no other brand of staple that will work in this line (I tried numerous), but once you purchase the Optima staples, problem solved, and you'll love it!

Why is my staple gun shooting 2 staples at a time instead of 1? How do I fix that?

Morning Sherri,

Usually, if a tool is sending two staples out at a time, the wrong staple series is being used. Please check if the pack of staples you're using is suitable for the machine. If they are compatable, then make sure that the magazine (Where the staples go in) closes properly.

My usual analogy is: Tyres may look the same and do the same job but, you try and put a bus tyre on a bicycle - just can't do it.....

If this doesn't sort the issue out come back to me.

How do I change staples in a bizhub600

Depend on which staples. Saddle stich (example, Church service program with staples in the middle type) or booklet/corner with the staple on the left side or the corner. open finisher pull out the big section to the left side see to blue/green handles rear one is for corner staple which goes the fastest do to being used the most. when you pull them out there is a plastic guide they should follow if they don't line up power off the machine close all door power on machine. the stapler should go to default location which allows the staple cart. to be removed. DO NOT THROW THE CART AWAY!!!! YOU will be replacing the staples in the cart. Once out Push at he bottom pull the top. DO NOT PULL THE WHITE WRAP ON THE NEW STAPLE UNTIL INSTALLED in the cart. Had customer do that staples spilled on the floor customer installed the staples in the wrong direction.

Also be careful the is a tiny black accurator the mite come out keep it that's what tells the copier the staple is installed give to technician to reinstall.

How do I open and load staples in my swingline 665xx?

Take off the part at the opposite end of where the staples come up and press down the little metal piece that sticks out. The part where the staples load should then click out for you.

How do i add more staples

Hi, You cannot add staples while there are still some left in the cartridge, you will have to wait until it is all finished, the paper holder comes out from the bottom of the cartridge, remove the old staple paper holder, pay careful attention or put a mark on the outside, now you are ready to insert the new staples in the cartridge. First you need to remove the new staples and take out the wrapper carefully, line up the arrow with the cartridge and insert it into the cartridge then snap it into place, replace the cartridge in the machine when you are done.
Thats it.
This fix is for the small finisher that hangs on the machine, it`s called M1 Finisher.

If you need a service manual for this model machine you can get it here

Do not know how to print and have the copier staple it.

Need more info. Most copiers do not come with a stapler. It is an option that typically (in ALL the models I have serviced) is a feature that comes with some sorter/finishers. If the output on your machine has a sorter, then look for a staple symbol or a button with a "staple" on it somewhere on the machine itself. If it lights up when you push it, you have a stapler option. They do tend to jam up easily, and the staples are kinda expensive. So if you don't see either of these on your machine.... YOU'RE THE STAPLER! =)

I have a Ricoh Aficio and I cannot find how to use the stapling feature.

Are you sure it has stapling?
Some machine may show it on the control panel but it is an option that may or may not be installed.
Is there a stapler in the sorter?
If it does, then the stapling should come up as a finishing option when making copies.
On your control panel, there will be a Sort, Group and a Sort/Staple option.
Select this feature and it should staple your copies.
If you select this and it doesn't staple then it may be out of staples or the copy is not the correct size or orientation to allow stapling.

"to test stapler, press staple button" ... Minolta di550 with FN-105 ... HELP !!!

First make sure that you do not have the collate and staple option checked on the printer menuing system or in the print setup on one of the local machines printing to it. Ensure that when auto-staple is not used that the error stops manifesting.

Then, I would check to make sure that you are installing the correct staples, length and width for the model.
