OSD Lock—The OSD can be enabled or disabled by pressing and holding the Menu button on the front panel for 10 seconds. If the OSD is locked, the warning message “OSD Lock” displays for five seconds.

❏If the OSD is locked, press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to unlock the OSD.

❏If the OSD is unlocked, press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to lock the OSD.

Press the Menu switch around 35 sec continuas..If lock open no prob other wise you have to replace the Menu micro switch..

You might get in using "Safe Mode" and going throught the Administrator account. If you have no password on that one (most people don't) then all you need to do is hit enter. Only other choice is to have your documents backed up by pulling the HDD then do a full recovery using the recovery partition or CD.

you did not given details of model, company complet discreption of problem ok no problem you press the four keys on the monitor for five seconds simultaneusly or till it will show the massage "keys unlocked" then release

reset the computer without saving the data , so the lock option not get saved in ur parameters

I had this problem with a different model. try this.

. turn off the monitor.
. press and hold the Menu key while you turn on the monitor again.

You need to have administrator rights to unlock the Notebook.
You need to perform full system recovery to unlock the Notebook.

in other words you have to format it. :)
