When you buy anything off e-bay it should ask you for you paypal password. When entered it should take you off site to PayPal. If it stops at this point you are either entering the wrong password and e-mail address or there's a fault. Make certain you are using the right password and e-mail combination and if that doesn't work contact e-bay or PayPal.

Telephone the bank that issued the credit-card to you, and see if your credit-card is OK, and is not "limited", and not over your limit.

HI

Please follow the below step for your problem.

You should check first if you can add a local bank account to your PayPal account, because it's not possible in some countries. Here's how:

  1. Go to the PayPal website and click More or Worldwide at the bottom of the page.
  2. Select your country from the list.
  3. View your country's options for withdrawing funds. If you see "To your local bank account" listed as a withdrawal option, you can add a local bank account.

If you are able to add your local bank account, here's how to add it:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Profile.
  3. Click Bank Accounts under Financial Information.
  4. Click Add
  5. Enter the required information, then click Add Bank Account.
thanking you

SOURCE: I'm from the Philippines and

Hi there,
Paypal uses funds that are added to your Paypal account or withdrawn from your bank account/credit card/debit card.
If the only thing you have is a Filipino bank account (BDO, RCBC etc ) you can withdraw funds from the bank account to your Paypal account.
To do so, you must first add your bank account to your Paypal account by going to Paypal, where it says My Account > Profile > Add or Edit Bank Account.
Here you enter your banking details as required, Paypal will make sure that it is your account by depositing a small amount of money to your account (takes 3-5 days) and then asking you to verify that amount before the bank account is confirmed and linked to your Paypal account.
After you've linked your bank account to your Paypal account you can then withdraw funds to it by going to My Profile > Add Funds. This process also takes 3-5 days to complete.
The funds withdrawn to your Paypal account from your bank account will now allow you to make instant payments with funds direct from your Paypal account.
Alternatively if you make a payment for anything you buy online and wish to pay with your Paypal account and don't have any funds, Paypal will deduct the funds from your linked bank account. The process usually takes 3-5 days to complete.
Hope I have been of assistance to you, Cheers ! :)

Can not make purchase through pay pal

The PayPal debit MasterCard is a quick and effective way to pay with PayPal, even if the merchant doesn't accept PayPal.

You can pay for any purchase with your PayPal debit card as long as the merchant accepts MasterCard debit cards, but sometimes you may run into problems when your debit card doesn't swipe correctly or is declined.

You can generally resolve any issues by logging onto your PayPal account and checking your balance or resolving any outstanding account problems.

Visit Paypal.com and sign in to your PayPal account.
Your "Transaction" page will appear.

Look at your "PayPal Balance" near the top of the page. If your balance is lower than what you're trying to purchase, PayPal will not permit the payment to go through.

Click on "Debit card" under "Account Tools" and click "Add backup now" to link your bank account with your debit card.

You can use your PayPal debit card even when your balance is zero if you select to add your bank account as backup; PayPal will take the money from your bank account.

Look for any red banners at the top of your page that begin with "Message."
Red messages are typically indicative of account issues.

You may receive a message if you requested a second debit card, if you used your debit card to buy a large purchase, used your card out of state or if someone hacked into your account; all of which may limit access to your account.

Click "Resolve now" and follow the steps to restore your account back to regular standing, which typically includes uploading a copy of your photo ID, two utility bills for proof of address and your Social Security card.

Click the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.
Click "Call us."

Write down the provided "Web PIN" number and call the customer service number if the above steps did not help.

The two main issues that affect PayPal debit cards are low balance or a limited PayPal account, but your card may have a bad magnetic strip or another issue that PayPal themselves can help you with.

or you might have to contact paypal give them a free call 1800-073-266
6.00 to 22.00 AEST/AEDT to resolve this issue

You must be setting up Premier and Business accounts.
A PayPal account can provide a convenient way to handle many kinds of financial activities online.

You can securely send and receive money, purchase items from online merchants and even pay some of your household bills without revealing your financial data or credit card numbers to strangers.

PayPal makes these services available through your computer and through mobile devices.
Like your local bank, PayPal also lets you download a monthly statement and other reports about your online activities. EBay owns PayPal, and it is the preferred payment method for many buyers and sellers in EBay auctions.

Registration

Visit the PayPal site to review the account types (personal, premier and business) and the terms of service.

You must provide your name, address and email address to begin the registration process.
After PayPal confirms that your email address is valid, that email will become your login identification.
You will choose your own password during the registration process.

You must also select two challenge questions and answers that you will use to request a lost password if yours is lost or forgotten.

Verification
After you register, PayPal must verify your identity and your financial information before you can use your account to make payments.

Verify your account by giving PayPal your bank account information, a credit card number or your debit card information.

To verify that you have an account at the financial institution, you must agree to allow PayPal to make a small deposit to the account that you provided account.

After your financial institution acknowledges receipt of the PayPal deposit, you will be ready to use your PayPal account.
Linking Accounts

PayPal gives you the option of linking your credit card or bank account to your PayPal account, after verification.

When someone sends funds to your PayPal account, you can leave the money there for future use, use it to shop or make payments.

You will also have the option of transferring the funds out from your PayPal account into your bank account that is on record in your profile.

If you prefer to keep your funds separate, you can make deposits to your PayPal account from your regular bank account.

When you use PayPal for online transactions, you can choose each time whether to use only the funds in your PayPal account or to use funds from your bank or credit card account.

PayPal also offers a reloadable MasterCard debit card that qualified account holders use to immediately transfer their funds from their PayPal account. It is accepted at ATMs, as well as online and offline merchants that accept MasterCards.
Upgrades

You may need to upgrade your personal account to Premier or Business if you need to accept credit card payments.

PayPal charges Personal account users fees for receiving money from credit card payments.
It also limits your total monthly transactions.

Premier and Business accounts have higher monthly transaction limits; however, they also have fees for receiving credit card payments. https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/helpweb?cmd=_help

I want to have my paypal go to my debit

If I understood your question right you want to withdraw your funds to your debit card. If that's what you mean you should have completed the following first:

- Verify your Paypal by following the instructions on the paypal site. usually you need to add your debit card first by using the debit card number not the debit bank account number

- If already verified Add the same debit card on your paypal by clicking Profile then add bank account. This time use the debit card bank account number. You should also know the bank code for paypal. You bank can tell you that.

Now if you want to withdraw your funds you just need to click withdraw menu then choose the debit card bank account you just added.

Dont have credit card can still use paypal

You can use PayPal as a way to receive money without a credit card or debit card. Although if you have a bank account you want the money transferred to, you will need to have some way to transfer the funds through paypal using your account.
If you want to send money, you need your bank account/debit card/credit card linked to paypal.

Can you pay for items by check on ebay and how early do I have to order something to get it by christmas??

It depends on the individual seller, what kind of payments they'll accept. As far as checks and wanting it before Christmas you might run into a problem as those that do accept checks may not ship the product to you until after the check clears their bank. That could be a few days or up to a few weeks, again depending on the individual seller. Usually when you view the item you're interested, near the very bottom of the page you'll find a section that says... Payment. That's where they'll let you know what type of payment they'll accept. By far the most popular is PayPal, which is owned by eBay now. With PayPal you can set up your account to allow them to withdraw funds from your bank account, either savings or checking. If you're not comfortable with that, and a lot of people aren't there are still other options to use PayPal. You can buy what's known as a "Money Pack" which are available at a number of major retailers. There is a fee for this, and have that wired to PayPal to deposit in your PayPal account, then they'll withdraw from there what you need to pay the seller. Another way, and it's the way I used for a long long time, is using a Pre-Paid Debit Card. Most sellers will accept them and run them through PayPal just like a credit card. The reason I chose that way was I could control how much money anyone had access to if the card was ever compromised, which it eventually was. I had deposited just enough to cover an online purchase to site, other than eBay. When I went to make the purchase I found out somebody had used my Debit Card number to make a number of purchases that I never authorized. While whomever it was went on a spending spree trying to buy computers etc. but luckily those purchases were turned down because there was insufficient funds in the account. According to several sources there are some people that use number generators, which generate debit-credit card numbers randomly. Then they try to charge, first small things on it, and if the charge is accepted they go nuts buying all kinds of stuff. Had it been a bank affiliated Debit Card they could have literally wiped out my bank account in a few hours. It took me almost 2 months to get my money back and I will never deal with that Debit Card company again.
