Since you have a 4 in 1 what i would do is go to your fax / printer settings and select spool to hard drive. There could be a possibility that all the data is not being stored on the fax machine. By sending your data to your hard drive first it will spool the data according to the performance and needs of your fax. Also check your time out feature on your fax machine. If the time out is set low it will send blank or only one sheet at a time. Because before the data is sent through the fax the system has already timed out. Another thing i found with the 4 in 1 is that as soon as you have your first paper going through you will want the second one right there ready to load. Sometimes if you wait to long before adding another sheet it will time out thinking you are done with your transmission.

FAX errors 345 346 and 350

HP.com has a web page for your product with all of the fax error codes listed and how to interpret them:

Fax Error Codes

Once the page opens, you'll have to scroll down until you find your error codes in the list. The codes in that section of the page don't seem to line up well. All of the codes have to do with the quality of service on the phone line. If the people you're faxing to are receiving all of their faxes except from you, I'd suspect your phone line may have a problem. Here's what I got from the list:

The remote machine has failed to respond to a fax command from the local machine due to the connection being interrupted. These errors can occur if the phone lines in the area to be faxed are old or there is noise (static on the phone line). Other reasons can include power outages and other power related problems.
OR
The call waiting service can cause this error. The click, heard for an incoming call, is actually a momentary disconnect of the line.
OR
The remote user has pressed the Stop key while the reception was in progress.
OR
Under rare conditions incompatibility between the two machines may cause the remote machine to simply abandon the call.

Check with your phone company to see if their are any problems on your line. It looks like anything that even momentarily interrupts your phone connection will cause these errors. Good luck.

Sending Faxes

When the last page of your document has been sent successfully, the machine beeps and returns to Standby mode. When something goes wrong while sending your fax, an error message appears on the display. If you receive an error message, press Stop/Clear to clear the message and try to send the document again. You can set your machine to print a confirmation report automatically each time sending a fax is completed. If you get the error message write it down it should always supply an error message if the fax did not go through.
