No picture I had a power outage and now the television will not turn on. I can get sound and when I hit the power button I hear it try to turn on, but nothing happens. It was plugged into a surge protector and none of the other electronics were affected. Is it something that can be fixed, and if so is it usually expensive? Or should I move on? Thanks!

The picture won't come on. When you turn on the power button, you can hear the set trying to come on, but nothing happens. It's situated on top of a gas fireplace; not sure if the heat has created an issue. Set is only 3 - 4 years old.

I must say about combo's they are more to work on than just TV sets, because they have the dvd and or vcr linked. You could try but it will be a job fixing. Just getting to parts and the things you have to take apart is enough to say let an experience person do it. But you problem is High Voltage, you are missing it. Its probably you horizontal output is shorted and a few other things. You could try it, but probably not worth it.

Had power outage and after hitting reset button green light blink

Hard to say without looking and sniffing!

But if you suspect that it is and it is likely, you may be able to get it repaired on your insurance policy. It should be covered under FUSION

Dont mention the lightning but check your policy. Then get the repair guy to write fusion problem on the receipt and submit for claim.

Power outage / TV won't come on.

Call the manufacture tech support and ask them for their rep in your area. If it is possible for them to reset your TV I am sure that they will.

From your description, most of the time there is damage to the power supply, or one of the areas in the set.

I had a power outage!

Hi there!

Power outages and lightning are the main causes of Electronic failure. It has obviously affected your TV and will need to be seen to by a repair technician if you are not skilled to do so. Regards and good luck, JUS004

at this point the only thing you can do is take the back off and check to see if any fuses are blown.

Tv dont come on

Sounds like the typical power surge created by the outage has caused a power supply problem inside your TV. IF that is it, there not much you can do yourself.
