Windos xp is not getting any audio device.How can

Since you are sure that the drivers are from a reliable source go on and procceed with the instalation. It's a common security question for windows XP and various device drivers.

Got to the following link and make sure you have all the necessary sound drivers. Sounds to me like you are missing one.

Re-Install the drivers from the system disk that came with your computer. If no disk, go to the website and download the drivers for your model computer.

click this link and select the Driver - Audio and downlod and install in your Laptop .........this is orignol hp web site ..........ok ........1000% solve

Make sure you have an active internet connection , then go to device manager and select your audio device.
Right click it and select update driver
windows should find the correct drivers for you

Unzip to a folder..make note of location.

From Device Manager,right click "Audio Device on High Def Bus",choose Update driver,

No to connect,

Install from a list or specific location,

Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,

For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'

Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".

Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".

Ignore XP when it complains.

Reboot.

Go here and pick yours.

you have doesn't gave me the description about your sound card. any way at please install your sound driver and direct-x 8.0 or supportable above then restart.

is there any other way to solve the audio problem? after i install win xp sp3 in my acer aspire 5550,i get stuck in installing audio driver.i have download the driver from many website even in acer.com, but still cant solve it..please give me some idea..
