A blue box appears with OSD main menu and brightness on it won't go away

The Brightness/Contrast Box pops up on the screen by its self. I have tried two separate computors and the problem is still there. The blue bar fluxuates between Exit, Brightness and Contrast. It will go away on its own for short periods of time, but comes back

A blue box keeps popping up on my screen that shows brightness & contrast %. How can I remove this?

You may have problem in the logic board (the right board in the first picture), bad firmware in the ROM chip, which there is not much you can do to reload the firmware. You can open it up and inspect the inside.

I cant get the color right. its to red??? any help? i did notice with the back cover off, there are 6 adjustment screws

yes! those are the screen and focus adjustments. 3 for screen, 3 for focus. try this. go in menu....turn down color, brightness, contrast all they way down. you should then have no picture, but in your case a little red. then go to back of tv and turn those 3 screen adjustments all the way down. slowly turn the screens back up until you get barely a picture. because remember, your brightness and contrast is all the way down. the picture should be dim but seeable and with red, green, blue adjustments, make it a black and white picture. when balanced..... turn up color , brightness, contrast in menu. enjoy!

Hello,

Unfortunately, it soulds like the monitor may be going bad. You may have to use the manufacturer warranty if its still valid.

Thanks

Brightness and contrast screen in center of monitor and can't remove it

the micro switches on the monitor are getting short which is triggering the menu, try to clean it with a switch cleaner or check if the switches can be replaced, do this only if u r an expert in handling things like this or take some proffessional assistance.

The Contrast screen pops on all the time

It looks like your UP button contact is demaged.
SOLUTION is to insert a piece from your business card mostly above the button to adjust it down or up. It works fine.

The dell monitors are bad with capacitors going out, check caps in power supply and video board. You can use a can of freeze, it would be easier that way. Just be careful not to touch anything, because these monitors can shock easy.
