My 2005 Nissan Murano drivers automatic window when closed opens again about three inches. There does not seem to be any obstruction. The only way to close it is to hold the switch up and then turn off the ignition.

The driver's side front window in my 2005 Murano did the same thing. If you hold the control in the up position for 30-60 secs. the window should stay up. In July, 2008, my dealer reset the window limit switch at a cost of $187.00 Cdn. for 1.5 hrs. labour (no parts). It has worked fine since but now my passenger side front window is doing the same thing. I think I'll complain this time and see if the dealer or Nissan will do anything.

Have it reprogrammed..alot of these auto up/down features need to be reprogrammed..or the regulator and mtor assembly may just need to be replaced and then reprogrammed.. have the dealer try to reprogram it first.. i dont think u have a switch problem.. i believe its the reg/motor assembly.

Beeping sound in 2005 nissan murano

Mine did the same thing. I had the battery replaced on the controller.and it still beeped. Then I took my key and put it in the ignition, without turning the key and took it out. Did this like 6 times and the long beep finally stopped.

Window limit switch reset on 2006 murano

You can try disconnecting both battery cables from the battery and touching them together for about a minute and then hook them back up that should reset it. I did it in a few newer vehicles and it seemed to work.

I have to replace my driver side rear brake caliper assembly but I am not too sure how to properly bleed the brake system to complete this successfully. Can some provide some assistance. My vehicle is...

first off make sure that the caliper you received is the correct one then remove the caliper bracket with the caliper then remove the bolt which holds the flex hose resecure it back on the new the same way you took it off, then put the brake caliper back on and once everything is back together then open the bleeder screw and allow the fluid to gravity bleed through the caliper, you will have to open the master cylinder resevoir cap so that the fluid can flow through the line and into the caliper, alow this to happen for a couple of minutes then close the bleeder valve and have someone get into the car and press down on the brake pedal while you open the bleeder valve again to get a steady amount of fluid to travel through the caliper. do this a couple of times to make sure there is no more air in the system only then could you put the tire back on the murano

Automatic liftgate won't open

The lift gate motor needs to be replaced. Preferably at the dealer ship. Its a pain to replace and most shops will do shoddy work and destroy your interior when doing it.
