No Power With the back off - just pluging it in, it soulds like it will come on.the green leds will light - after a few sec they all go bright then it shuts down - the protect LED starts to blink. the hot checks good,thank you for any help. if this was an ceronix or kortek monitor I would not be here (HA! HA!) Thank you

    Reseting (leaving the TV off for 3 min 2 days don't work -) it's something on the board cap or something that is connected to the board.
    thought nost of the sets would have common problems like I find in the casinos

Most likely, the little blue capacitor next to the horizontal output transistor has shorted and the main B+ fuse is open. This will cause the exact symptoms you are experiencing. This is very common on those Hitachi projection sets and is easily fixed. If you do not have experience locating and replacing bad parts in projection sets, have a qualified tech handle it for you.

Try to reset your monitor. Turn off, remove the power supply from the socket leave it for 30 mins and turn it on again.
