K7vt2 will not boot
2002 relic, and you think a 15year old coin is good?
coin cell dead.
below 2.9vdc is NO GOOD
next up is learning to have kit of bootable media
like USB linux demo media
and force it to boot to USB
even remove all cables DVD and HDD all.
run with a minimum PC
and not use 2010 and older monitors with dead CCFL back lamps.
turn on PC first. count to 10 and turn on monitor 2nd
if monitor brain shows NOSIGNAL your VGA PC port is dead or cable bad but monitor is not bad with that error on the screen, or monitor is set to wrong input port on the OSD of monitor.
this MOBO has no video port at all
so you must add a video card, AGP or PCI.
AGP is huge pain here, as 1/2 the cards made do not work here.
but does allow
supports 3.3v / 1.5v, 4X / 2X / 1X AGP cards
in bios see this.
Primary Graphics Adapter: Select PCI or AGP as the primary graphics adapter.
PGA choice. best is to do this. tricky yes seen it vast times back in Y2K era
use PCI video card. and be happy
or if must be AGP (your call)
use PCI first.
and then at PGA choice above flip it to AGP from PCI
save bios , and exit
AC power cable pulled
pull PCI cArd
insert AGP card
AC back power on see AGP caRD WORK. NOW.
SEEN THIS VAST TIMES THEN AND ALSO 1/2 THE CARD MADE JUST DOT WORK agp. EVEN BIOS REJECTED.
all the settings are correct I'm wondering if the lan card is going bad because even if i completly disable the internet and leave the ethernet cable plugged in it still does it
