I received an error message that the parts are at the last of its life and poeple from epson told me it looked to be my ink reservor that need to be clean out and reset , how can i do it myself.?
I changed all ink cartridges in my epson CX5000 printer and the red error light is on. The printer won't realign so the cartridge holder is accessible. The printer won't print. The printer is still under warranty. What should I do?
You will need a rescue from http://www.TheServiceManualShop.com. This will give all you need to pull the machine apart and clean the ink pads in the base of machine. You will also need the special bit of software they include to enable you to reset the counter in the printers firmware. Once all done you will be right as rain. If the machine is within its warranty period Epson will fix it.

error parts have come to the end of serviciable life
I received the same error message in the middle of printing. I looked online and apparently if you change the ink pads you can reset it so it will continue to work. However, that is supposed to be rather expensive. And, how do you reset it so it will work?
