Dark copies in normal mode.

When I select copies in normal mode they are printed dark, but in light mode the copies are printed perfect. Someone told me that I may adjust the voltages but I don't know how to do it or what it's the card that manage this.

Cleaning the optics and corona wires will clean up your image quality. It's just dust build up on the mirrors and lens.

Hi . i have a ep1054 and print veri light , i want change to dark

Are you printing in "draft" mode? That is always light. Try "normal" or "quality". Also make sure you have selected the correct paper type. "Plain paper" is what most paper is. Photo paper is quite different, and photo paper setting will not work correctly on plain paper.

If copy quality is very dark then what to do for making it normal

The dark quality is definitely linked to a light intensity problem. If the scanner lamp is operating properly then check for any reflective surfaces near the scanning lamp and clean those. It only takes a light film of dust to make copies dark. Be careful around the lamp, it is delicate.

I have a MP280 printer/scanner/copier that prints my photos out to dark, when it is on the computer it is pefect colour

Open the printer driver setup window
Select the manual color adjustment (or if already in manual and it had initially been printing fine, you may opt to select Auto)
On the Main tab, select Manual for Color/Intensity, and click Set....
The Manual Color Adjustment dialog box opens.
Specify the brightness

Select Light, Normal, or Dark for Brightness, and click OK.
The current settings are displayed in the settings preview on the left side of the printer driver.
Complete the setup
Click OK on the Main tab.
When you execute print, the data is printed at the specified brightness.

I see where to change color density settings in thick paper. Can I do this for plain paper? (Normal printing is too dark.)

The only changes you can make are in the printer preferences menu, so if you have lightened it up there you have made the only adjustment allowed or provided for.

I need to lighten print on my richo2210L fax machine

To adjust the contrast, Press Darkness. Each time you press the button, the LED labeled with the selected mode turns on. You can choose from the following darkness modes:
1>Lighten: works well with dark print.
2>Normal: works well with standard typed or printed documents.
3>Darken: works well with light print or faint pencil markings.

I want to know that how to adjust exposure level in sharp 1118 or how to make light copy with diganostics mode

l For manual copy density adjustment, press the AUTO/
MANUAL/PHOTO ( / / ) key to select
MANUAL ( ) and adjust with the LIGHT ( ) and
DARK ( ) keys as desired.
l For photographs, select PHOTO ( ) and then adjust with the
LIGHT ( ) and DARK ( ) keys as desired.
l There are 9 exposure steps indicated by 5 indicator lights. (The
indicators light up one or two at a time.)
Successive pushes of the LIGHT ( ) key will change the
indicator lights in the order (3) / (3•2) /(2) / (2•1) / (1).
Successive pushes of the DARK ( ) key will change the
indicator lights in the order (3) / (3•4) / (4) / (4•5)/ (5)
The automatic exposure level can be adjusted to suit your copying
needs.

3 Press the LIGHT ( ) or DARK ( ) key to lighten
or darken the automatic exposure level as desired.
4 Press the AUTO/MANUAL/PHOTO ( / / ) key.

Want a B&W copy from colored sheet of paper w/o dark background.

It's never going to be perfect (unless the background is quite light in colour), because the copier basically "sees" the coloured background as "gray", and the darker the background the more "gray" it looks. Try setting the original type to "photo" mode, and then adjusting the exposure a little lighter/darker....that's all you can basically do.
