I'm having the same problem. All pics are blurry (in the viewfinder) before taking them as well as afterwards. My DD was messing with it yesterday but she has no idea what she did to it. ARGHHH! Where would I change the focus settings? I can't seem to find it! Thanks much!

If your still having a problem with focus, it has to be sent back to samsung for reprograming i had the same fault whilst i was on holiday! another fault with the camera is that it turns its self off when you zoom in, that also has to be sent back to samsung! i dont know how much it would be if its out of warranty, i never found out just bought a new camera!

Make sur the unit is not in macro focus mode. also it could be in manual focus mode. go into the menu and set it to auto. if none of this works the lens may be bad.

My lens is all blurry

Question is, Is your lens blurred,or are all your pictures blurred?
If you can see the front of the lens is really dirty, you could try to clean it with a lens pen. One side has a soft brush to remove the dust and perhaps other debris. Please try to remove debris with a little presuerd air. If only smear is left on the lens, you than can use the other end of a lens pen. It has a very soct pad, with wich you than can remeove smear.
If the lens looks ok, please don't touch it.
Perhaps you don't take enough time to let the camera focus on the subject.
When making a picture, press the shutter release button half, till he AE/AF indicater flashes and you hear a beep, then you can press down and make the picture.
If you are making pictures without a steady hand, pictures also can come out blurred. Special when there is little light avalible.
Then choise a higher ISO.
I hope this helps. You still can fine the manual online.

1.check your lens camera is clean and clear.

You have to choices, auto and scene.
What happen when you choose scene mode?
2. test change your image quality to normal. you can go to menu even in shooting mode.
3.change image to normal and back to shooting mode and try again

It is same ?blur?

4.if still blur, try go to menu mode again, at left side you can find BSS.
5 IF BSS is off.. change it on. if it is on, change it off.
6.go to shooting mode again.

that all. good luck and rate me..tq

I am using smasung ES73 digital camera, and i dont know why everytime i took pictures most of it are blurred.. i wonder how to fix this problem..thankyou

Make sure you hold down the shutter button half-way before taking the shot and let the camera auto-focus. Also make sure the lens is clean, as grime and fingerprints can mess up the auto-focus. If that doesn't work, the motor drive in the lens is probably broken and needs to be sent in for repair.

Cant get a proper focus, all pics are blurred. what to do please

Its a problem of the lens. Some how lens focus ring not move properly internal side. Replacing the lens is only solution. But before that try to clean the external body of the lens & sensor. Sensor position is just side of the flash light. After cleaning try again & let me know. Thanks.

Dropped camera. The viewer works, the recorder works - but the picture comes out blurred. I can hear it trying to adjust itself.

Hi there the camera lens guide pin is damaged after drop down. Thats why you get a noise for focusing the lens but it did't focus. After that the result is blur image. You must change the guide pin from service center. After that it will work start properly. Thanks.70ed0c8.jpg

Blurry picture

Make sure the lens is clean
Some webcams have a focus ring around the lens you can rotate to sharpen the image - like a telescope.
Others rely on software and you set the focal length for the best picture.
You can try the Philips website for support

Blurred camera vision

Make sure the webcam is clean
Some cameras have a focus ring around the lens. This has to be rotated to bring the picture into focus.
Others rely solely on the software.
If you have to re-install
Unplug webcam
Uninstall old webcam software
Restart computer
Visit the webcam manufacturer's support website and download new software

My camera is showing blurred pictures when taking pictures help

Try reseting all menus to default, then try again to test.
Make sure the lens is clean.
Do the menus appear clear?
Has the camera ever been dropped or had any other damage? This could get the lens out of focus, and would need repair.
Does blurring happen when zooming or when taking a picture of any kind?

All pictures are blurred and when looking at screen its blurred

Your camera's Focus mode may be set on Macro Selectable in which case the Auto Focus Range will be "wide: 0.07–0.7 m, tele: 0.4–0.7 m (macro AF)" as quoted in the specifications from www.kodak.com web page for the EasyShare M1033. While this setting is great for a close-up of a flower, anything more than a meter (about one yard) away will be blurred unless you reset your Auto Focus mode back to "normal AF" or "landscape mode"

When i take a picute inside, the picture is very dark and blurred. Can you help me. Samsung S630.

In your users manual there should be a paragraph on cleaning the CMOS (Complimentary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) cleaning procedure. Also make sure your lens is clean and verify that your auto focus is functioning properly.

I hope this is a help to you, good luck!
