Switching on problem

i have the same problem, i called the customer service and they said that the phone has to be reformatted

i got the same problem with my nokia 3110..i've just took out my memory card,sim card and battery and after 5 mins i kept battery inside and switched on then it worked,next with sim card and again with 3 of 'em..now the problem is solved

try to check the battery,may be due to improper charging or due to damage of battery

Check if the battery is alrite, you can get it checked by a technician for free using a multimeter, If its dead you need to replace it.

the puk code prompt comes up when you have entered the pin code wrong 3 times.

to get the puk code you need to call your phone service provider, the will give it to you, if you try to gess the puk code wrong too many times it will make your ssim card useless, so get the right code from your provider, they are the only ones that have it.

after the puk code it will ask you to enter a new pin code and then confirm the pin code. then the sim will work normally and ask for pin again next time instead of puk, puk will come again if you enter pin wrong 3 times.

When it asks you for the code, and it's talking about the phone being locked and you havent yet switched the phone over to your phone number, then enter the last 4 digits of your friends phone number. If you've already switched it, enter in the last 4 digits of your phone number.

If it's asking for another code, I'd just call Verizon...they have help for switching to a new phone/activating a new phone that should help you out.

i t is due to software problem try flashing the phones software again

have you tried putting the memory again? try removing the battery and then try switching it on again

I just gave it a very hard tap against my dinning table and it became alright!

I had to clean my phone so I just switched off the phone, cleaned the phone and then switched on. As switching the phone a message was displayed that memory card has been locked and a password was needed to unlock. Please can you help me with password
