Frigidaire FEB (or FES) self cleaning oven, installed July 2002. When pushing the control for CLEAN, the DOOR LOCK light will flash. But the door will not lock, so therefore does not clean. The DOOR LOCK light will not go off, it has been flashing for 5 hours. It showed F9, and it showed F1.
Hi, these two codes together are signaling a EOC failure. the electronic oven control has failed and you will need to replace the EOC/clock. it is unable to initiate any commands because, it in a frozen state.
You can try to reset this control by unplugging the entire unit for 5 minutes. if the control continues to not reaspond to your commands, replace the EOC.
please rate and god bless:)
Thank you for your post, Pattie Cromie!
I see that you would like to operate self-clean on your Frigidaire range and you do not have the manual. Typically, to start self-clean you would need to push the button labeled "Self-clean" and make sure there is nothing inside the oven before starting a self-clean cycle. Also before starting self-clean close the door because of the temperatures that are created within the oven the door needs to be closed and locked. I hope this has been beneficial. -Matt
