Adobe premere i used to download videos from youtube.com & convert it to .avi by "total video converter".........but when i tried to import them to adobe premere ,it fails.......it is showing a message that there is some unsupported compression in video file.........what does it mean & how should i correct it........?? plz tell......i have to complete my projects....thanx in advance........!!

How do i import a video?

dear you need to convert your file into a format that is supported by the premiere like avi or smthng else(check out documentation for the formats supported by your software).
To convert your files from one format to another you need a video converter software like Total video Converter or ImToo MPEG Encoder.
