If you live in the U/K, then the wires connect as detailed.
The yellow green wire goes to the earth terminal, which is the pin at the end of the plug.
The brown wire goes to the terminal with the fuse, and the blue wire goes to the left termiinal, looking at the plug with the top removed.
Please rate my advice.
Thnanks.

Just moved, the dryer has a 4 prong plug and house has 3. Should it replace plug to dryer to 3 prong or house plug?

Buy a 3 wire cord and install it on the dryer. Hang onto the 4 wire one in case you move again.

I have a 93 jeep grand cherokee and the wires on my sony cd player dont match up and i dont know what the right way should be

Im quessing you are trying to install a sony radio into your jeep. The question is do you still have a plug on the wires in the dash? Or has the plug been cut off? If you still have the plug-you can buy a wire harness from Best Buy or Crutchfield or any car stereo shop that will match the wires for you. If you need more info on how to install this radio without the harness, e-mail me cuz it's alot of typing for nothing if you don't.

Same dryer but I need to switch to a 4 prong cord. Please help!

WARNING! I believe you want to replace a 110V-120V plug with a 220V. Don't do it until you know for sure. Sounds dangerous! Not an expert, just some free advice from a novice.

DRYER

The door switch is a good start but UNPLUG DRYER and under the top of the dryer is a thermal limit switch lift the top using a putty knife on each side of the lid raise it and on the left rear you will see the element look under the wires going to the element (straight down) you will see a limit switch with two wires on it remove these wires and plug them into each other.make sure they dont hit the frame and plug dryer back in and try to start it if it starts replace the thermal fuse you can tape these wires together with electrical tape and use it until you get the fuse but dont wait 6 months to do so it could cause a fire .Good Luck
