Deleting tracks I deleted all the mp3 tracks out of my zen nano (512mb). The player is telling me there is no music in it. My pc shows nothing in the player. Yet when I click on properties it shows the player as full.

You may have a memory allocation error. You can "format" the device thru My Computer, that should resolve it. Go to My Computer>Device name, right click and select format. This will delete all contents. Best of Luck.

click on the drive under "My Computer" then enable view hidden files under the tools/folder options/view tab. You should see a bunch of file source things pop up, then delete those

Deleting songs.

Your DB might be corrupt. Folow the delete procedure one more time:
Delete Music Files
1) Connect your Sansa to the computer.
2) Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial
connection.
3) Select the place where you want to delete music files from
4) Highlight and delete the music file/s or folder from My Computer\Sansa
e200\...\MUSIC
folder. (You can also select from a variety of music
software programs to transfer/synchronize your files).

If that fails, go ahead and update the firmware - it will delete everything, and allow you to start over from scratch among other things.

How do i access recovery mode on my zen mp3 player?

On the bottom there is a small hole which is the reset button. You need to insert a needle pin into it to reset your ZEN. Just had the problem 10 mins ago and solved it this way. I hope your problem is solved too.

ZEN V PLUS REMOVABLE DISK MANAGER NONFUNCTIONAL??

try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.

By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok?
