Re: fuji finepix a330 digital camera says "low battery"
To help rule out if the battery, camera, or even your charger I would suggest to first clean all the contacts. This can be done with some rubbing alchol and a q-tip, make sure you get the contacts in the camera, directly on the battery, and your charger. Wipe off any excess alchol and let it sit for a minute or two so the alchol can evaporate. Give the battery a good charge and see what happens.
Where did you purchase that replament battery? If what was under 10bucks I would suspect it's the battery, there are a ton of crap battery's hitting the market, always stick with name brand.
Another possibility is that the charger could be sending the wrong voltage to the battery causing inproper charging, or even the chargers power cord could be sending the wrong voltage to the charger.
Anyway I'm done rambling, It's 12:15am and I have a 70hour week starting in 6 hours so i'm outta here. Hope this helps.

Problem with the Fuji FinePix A330 Digital Camera
I have a Fuji FinePix A330 camera and when I try to take a picture in the light, daylight or lamp light, lines appear through the picture. Sometimes fine lines but other times like a burst of light. This just started happening recently. But when I take a picture in the dark with the flash the photo turns out fine. Any answer as to what caused this? Thanks
Parts or a new cradle are hard to find. I don't think Fuji makes them any more, although, depending on where you live, that country's distribution source may still have stock. What we sell our customers is a small charger which recharges the battery outside of the camera. They are about $10 US and plug into the USB port on any computer.
2 long shots as I don't know anything about the a825 Some cameras have a setting in their menu that allows you to choose between alkaline or NiMh (rechargable). If the setting is wrongly set to alkaline when using rechargable it is unlikely to recognise that the batteries are charged and would report low battery. Check your manual to see if their is a select battery setting and check whether it is set correctly. Occasionally errors on digital cameras can be corrected by removing the memory card and batteries, leaving for 2-3 days and then putting back in the batteries, turning on, turning off, putting the memory card back in and turning back on.
yes ther is no problem using Ni-MH batteries, as they do not have a memory effect they will be better (subject to your charger), you can get the Fuji Finepix NH-20 batteries (wj=hich are NIMH) here - Fuji Finepix F420 battery
I think this is a general Fuji design fault in the camera circuitry. I have an older F455 which has exactly the same problem and I did the same - bought new batteries only to discover that didn't help.
The only solution is to spend even more money for a stand alone battery charger.
Sorry, no solution. Same problem here. I am very unhappy because initially it took great pictures. The first one I tried only worked a couple of days and I returned to store and they replaced. Second worked a couple of months and now immediately draws down power and won't work on new batteries. I was told to use NH-10 batteries (rechargeable). I did this from the beginning. Still won't hold charge.
