Lack of reception on Consumer Cellular Doro 410 and AT&T System at locations where I had reception with my previous LG phone and AT&T system. Any way to improve it, short of buying a new phone? Tried calling CC, gave up after 25 minutes of listening to recording tell me how important my call was to them.

Hello there, when the sim slot breaks you would have to replace the units main board. The main board is usually the main component of the phone system and uses the sim as the main connection to the network. To get the replacement would determine your location but usually the best place to start looking is your local dealership.

SOURCE: Doro PhoneEasy 410 some buttons won't work on keypad

It maybe a flex problem or keyboard problem. The reason why I said it maybe a flex problem is because flip phones are fond of having flex problems because of the constant open and close of the flip. It makes the flex wear/worn out.
And it maybe a mere disconnection.
Which ever the case maybe, the phone needs to be disassembled in order to check/know what's wrong.
