Please help, i cant activate use of my memory card on the lg viewty

I have a boost mobile game phone d615 and when i go to download ebuddy it says you need to activate your jave settings or it will say out of memory but i have deleated all my songs

my hunch is that the my files is located on the Memory card and the memory card is faulty try removing your memory card and accessing your 'My Files' if this works then you may have to replace your memory card

my files all corrupted and i cant activate my silver themes ..
i also can't keep files in my memory card
this all happened after i download EFS media builder ..

The Viewty can (as far as I have been able to find out) only work with up to 2Gb memory - But!!! If you stick the 4Gb card in a card reader / USB adapter and upload enough stuff to it so that there's 2Gb or LESS free space left on the card you can then use it in the Viewty.

The phone can then tell deal with the amount of free space as well as being able to access the stuff you uploaded :)

Read that somewhere & it worked for me.

its easy, just follow:
1. if you don't use memory card, skip the previous step and just install the LG PC SUiTE in the CD that comes with the Viewty, then connect your phone with the computer and in the LG PC SUiTE choose CONTENTS and there you find everything in your phone, just copy & past anything, this also works if you have memory card, but if you have memory card, the below method is faster and easier dealing with data:
2. if you are using memory card, copy all the things from your folders (images, sounds, videos...etc. ) from your phone to memory card.. then on your viewty, go to menu --> settings (fourth) tab --> phone settings --> connectivity --> USB connection mode --> then choose (Mass Storage) and then connect your phone with the computer and, here you go, you're all set and you find your memory card on pc :-)

Have you tried using another memory card, or maybe using that same memory card on another phone and see if it works, because it could be either one othe them that could be malfuncioning, hopfully it is the memory card and not your phone.
But just in case if you find out it was the phone, try to reset settings to reset it back to factory settings and hopefully that will help, also check if the memory card slot is clean..Good luck

why dont you just take the card out, and put it ina memory card reader?

Mine was doing this, think ive found the solution . . .
The internal memory of the phone is probably nearing its total capacity, have u took a lot of pics recently or received a lot of pics? or songs? that are stored on the phone and not on your memory card?
Try deleting some stuff from your phone memory, this fixed mine! no idea why or how, but it did!

Indeed I do have a 4GB card. Tried a 1GB card and all is now ok... Many Thanks!!!
