i have a problem my print Lexmark E342n 936 service transport motor.can you help me?

Please select your windows system.

Remove previous installed programs, before you install the new software.

The setup for the static ip, you have to select this under the install of the printer program.

Error: "936 Main Drive Motor"; Error: "936 Transport Motor"; Error: "937 Main Drive Motor"; Error: "937 Transport Motor"

Environment

The 936 and 937 error codes indicate that the printer thinks there is a problem with the main drive motor.

Solution

1. If your printer is posting one of these errors, turn it off and let it sit powered off for at least a minute.
2. While the printer is off, open all of the doors and covers on the printer. Also remove the toner cartridge. Make sure there is no paper jammed in the printer. Pay close attention to the area where the toner cartridge sits. The main motor is located just to the left of the toner cartridge.
3. If nothing appears to be wrong with the inside of the printer, reinstall the toner cartridge and close all the doors and covers. Now power the printer back on. If the error does not return, try printing again.
4. If the error does not return when you print, continue using the printer. If the error does not return after a few days, this may have been an isolated incident and the printer should be fine.

Go into your print dialogue box, then mailings and labels, then Create, envelopes, . From there, select options and printing options. From this dialogue box you can select how the address is printed.

all the lights flashing means "Service Error". Likely the printers CPU. There is no fix for a service error. Sorry. :(

Try using the Lexmark Print Server instead of the generic print server (if you use a Windows Server to share the printers). Also a new driver V2.0 was just released. Additionaly you can try to set 100 full duplex, but this is complex and has to be done at the printer, pressing a serie of buttons. These printers are crap, we have constant problems with them.
