The common thing to fail is the dispenser door solenoid.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing. I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information. RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell. In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Save yourself a lot of time and money and replace the analog pressure switch. This will solve your issues by taking care of both error codes at the same time.
he machine is a bit different than most washers, so here is help when you get "error 04"...Your pump is plugged. There is a round 'door' on the lower front of the washer. At the 5-O'clock position in the door there is a small hole. Put a small screwdriver blade in the hole, push in (just a little), and you can rotate the door clockwise. When the hole is in the 6-O'clock position, the door will come out and you can get to the problem. Immediately facing you is a black connector, about 4 inches (10cm) in diameter. When you unscrew this, all the water left in the washer will spill out onto the floor. (We used a pile of towels to catch this). The Black connector unscrews counterclockwise, and takes quite a few turns. Once you have it out, you'll find the source of your clog. In our case, it was a childs sock. We removed it, screwed the black connector back in, and the washer ran fine. After a couple of loads (to make sure there was no leak) I put the door back on...and rotated it to the 5 O'clock position. And thats it! You saved yourself about $100 service call, and probably a ton of time waiting.
turn off at mains checking no water left in drum should release after that sound like faulty door lock or not draining fully, it wont let you open the door till the water has gone well below the door seal.
may be bad basket drive ..main control detects out of balance by currect draw on motor had a basket drive cause same sympton .. after replaceing control bds and motor changed basket drive and solved problem
I own a HE3 kenmore elite for 4 years now and the troubleshooting codes are: SUD When excessive suds are detected, a suds routine automatically starts. This causes the cycle to go longer to remove the excess suds. Reduce detergent amounts or use HE detergent.
The F02 error I had with mine and it is a drain problem. Book says check the hose for kinks, clogged or is it more than 96 inches above the floor. On mine it was the fan pump on the forward motor that drains the washer. It was worn and not pushing out the water fast enough. You will hear a high pitched whine at the front bottom of the washer if this is bad.
To reset the washer from the F02 error, select pause/cancel twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer or dissconnect power. good luck
