My veo stingray has been installed & hooked-up and while it allows me to "broadcast", it will not take any "snapshots"(actually, it doesn't even turn-on when I attempt to do that. I already checked the hook-up as well as uninstalling, re-starting my computer and re-installing the software/cam...any suggestions?

Re: Cam Won't Take Photo Shots
This is a software problem and you have already uninstalled and installed your program. So it is obvious that the driver may not be allowing for proper connectivity. Try this unistall the program and drivers. Reboot the machine without the camera being connected. Load the programes and drivers without the camer being connected, and then connect the camera once the programs and drivers are loaded and the system is rebooted.

First you should check to see if the camera is Vista ready meaning you wouldn't need the installation cd. If its not vista ready try to manually install the camera by left clicking the the camera when it pops up as new hardware. You can also leave it connected to you pc for a few minutes which may allow it to self install; or check the website for the camera and see if they have a file where you can install the cd.
