Fifa 09 PS3 online lost connection

ime having the same problem i asked around and i was told that everyone who owns a ps3 has the same problem worldwide

• call your ISP first to fix the issue on your line problem
• after that after issue of trouble ticket and resolution of your ISP
• then your router support

try looking for updates and patches for the game, else, reinstall all your fifa 09 files.

if this doesn't work, verify it there are any problems with your disk (dust, for example),

is the problem continues, restore your ps3 system . (or first re-update the system by downloading the latest update in Playstation Site)

This most likely means that you did not buy the north american formatted game .

it should not be the controller it could just be the game the best thing to do is bring it back to gamestop or wherever you brought it from and exchange it for another one...

There's a possibility that your location may be the issue. On the other hand, there's alot of issues out there very similar, if not identical to yours. but SO many give SO much different advice on how they think it should be solved, there's no way to know which ones click & which ones missed.
A few folks said "power cycling" their router helped them. Unplug it... Wait 30 seconds... Then give it a go. Some folks with both PS3 AND 360 said it's happening on BOTH with EA! So that says alot about EA's servers.

Go to your Internet Connection Settings, then Disable the Media Server thing and it should work, hopefully. I did it and I think it's working now, because I'm downloading the new 2.76 Update.

da problem is dat ur internet connection can sometimes get lost if it is not strong enough. dis happened 2 me sometimes so i moved my ps3 closer 2 the internet router and da internet connection was very strong. I hope dis helped =)

You should configure your Router as a "router" or as a bridge. Usually, you can access the router's IP via web service (using http://ip.address.of-this.router). In this web access, you can modify your router configuration to act as router or bridge, also you have to specify the DNS, DHCP configuration as well.

I am guessing the PS3 is hooked up through a router, either wired or wirelessly. You need to browse the router setup for the IP address of the PS3, then put the IP of the PS3 into the DMZ, also in the router setup. This should clear up any connection problems
