It will be best to contact the authorized service center for Samsung in this case. They only can provide the component.

You have a defective optical engine. The symptom usually shows lines separated by about an inch vertically across the screen. It may be worth your time to call Samsung consumer relations and see if they will incur some of the cost.

digital video board

The Digital bd has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Part# is BP94-02065A

First hook up a DVD player and let a movie run for a while. If the pix still blacks out then you have a bad Main bd in the tv. If it does not then you have a problem with the source box. More often problems are with the source such as a cable or sat box.

This may be a power supply fault, and what you are probably seeing is some switching noise breaking in through the display processor, or possibly the input processor. Because of the fact that the bar is moving, this means that the sequence is not locked to the main processors.

You should contact the place where you bought the set and speak to someone about an exchange. A one day old set should be exchanged right away, and I would argue that fact.

I don't want to mention any name brands, but I would have gone for a company that also manufactures TV broadcast and industrial TV equipment rather than one that manufactures appliances.
