Xbox flashing red and green

Its the Red Ring of Death. It can be fixed but extremly complicated and I definatly dont recommend attemoting it but will provide a link of a video that shows you how WARNING you need special tools to take the 360 aprt. Microsoft had started to warrenty against this problem for more than a year have heard up to 3 years but have never verified it.

this is whats known as the RROD (Red Ring Of Death) it is something that should be professionally repaired in order for it to work properly. If microsoft is asking you for shipping charges ,call them back and speak with a supervisor,it sounds as if this is one of the RING OF DEATH consoles from around 4 years ago, alot of them had it as well as mine ,they will send you a box to put it in for shipping..FREE,you'll get a new one in about 5-7 days...It is under warrenty if it is one of the ring of death consoles..no matter how long you have had it...hope this helps

If you have 4 lights, check your A/V cord. 3 lights is the Red Ring of Death. Call Microsoft. They have an extended 3 year warranty for this problem. hope this helps AJ

you have the three rings of death. im surprised you dont know what this is. common to all microsoft xbox users.its a hardrive failure which happens after overheating and long gameplay and etc. 3 out of the 4 rings light up and blink. the only solution to this is to send it in to microsoft and theyll fix it for you. free if you have warranty but if u dnt then idk. keep on pressing the power button because in some cases after a while it comes green.

one red light is also the E71 error as well.

well you can call the xbox assitance and they will tell you to put in the xbox serial number, your state, adress, etc. you have the 3 rings of death, so what they will do they will send you a box for you to put your xbox and send it back to get it fixed, this only works if you have the 1 year warranty, if you do they will fix it for free, if you dont you have to pay, but its worth it.
