Did you dump or restore nand dump saves current nand restore deletes current nand and replaces it with one saved on memory stick.if it is bricked it doesn't necesarily need a nand repair nand is when you have issues loading firmware or issues with umd drive menu bar. so if you can load a firm ware load it don't touch the nand till it does not allow a firmware update and if you have some glitches after firmware update try idstorage rewrite in the nand tools.

For psp what does bricked mean

"Brick" means corrupting your Firmware, the system that makes your PSP run. Bricking can be caused by either "interrupted update of firmware" or attempt to install "PSP Hacks" also known as Jailbreaks or Custom Firmware (CFW).
Some PSP Models can be revived when bricked by using a system called "Recovery Menu" which becomes available when the PSP was running a CFW before it bricked. Another way of unbricking a PSP including those that runs Original Firmware is using Pandora Battery and a Magic Memory Stick.
However, there are PSP MOdels that cannot be unbricked. These are the PSP 2000 Slim that have the Motherboard TA088v3 and other higher end. The worst PSP Motherboard is the TA088v3 because once bricked, PSP becomes a lovely paperweight without game functions and possibility to be revived.

"Hack your PSP" guide

1.)Here are some termins i will use:
OFW-Original firmware, this is your system software
CFW-Custom Firmware,Modified firmware
HEN-Homebrew(home-made)enabler,this is much like a CFW without some features and its not permanent this means its gone after a hard reboot(taking out the battery or completly shutting down the system)
XMB-CrossMediaBar your PSP menus
PANDORA battery-a modified battery that allows you to put your PSP in service mode and do wathever you want with it its used for unbricking, downgrading and installing CFW.
BRICK-Its when you mess with your system software and damage it,its called flashing, its called a BRICK since your PSP becomes useless as a brick.
2.)PSP 1000 (FAT/PHAT)
This is wath it looks like:

My psp got switched off when i formatted. when i switch on, it shows a blank screen. please help!

I guess we have a BRICKED PSP here.
Well, if you got a PSP Board that can be recovered from bricking, try doing this;
1. Totally turn off your PSP by removing your battery and putting it back. 2. Press and Hold "R" button while switching your PSP on. 3. If Recovery Menu appears, click the recovery boot option.
If there is no Recovery Menu, your second option is to try Unbricking your PSP using PANDORA Battery and a Magic Memory Stick.

I just updated my psp to version 6.00 and i i am not able to play my iso games please helpme in my problem friends

This is not reversable without a pandora battery and a magic memory stick, the pandora battery is a modified battery that lets your psp boot from a special memory stick (magic memory stick) into service mode, from there you're able to reflash your psp to a custom firmware, this needs also to be on that memory stick, since your not able to use USB or Wifi in the service mode.

You've flashed your psp with official Sony
firmware, this lets you play only games that are bought from PSN and does also only run games
from UMD.

Succes.

When my psp have update the new software to half way I turn off the power and after that and it can't turn on. anyone can help . . . . thanks

**** your psp is brick the only way for fixing it is to buy a pandora battery and buy a magic memory stick you can buy both things at http://www.pandorasales.com/ and when you receive both things just take your memory stick out and battery and then put your new magic memory stick and hold down R trigger and put the pandora battery while holding down R.Your psp will turn on by itself and there you have some options install custom firmware(thats for downloading free psp games) and istall oficial firmware(thats the firmware 3.00,5.50,etc.)you have to chose one option and when your done installing your psp is now fix.I bricked my psp a while ago but the pandora battery and magic memory stick fixed my psp.Hope this will help you like me and go to this link to show you how a bricked psp looks like and how to fix it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4sU9U8liik&feature=fvsr .
