SOURCE: MEMORY CARD ERROR

Sounds like the memory card pins are bent. Remove the card and hold the camera up to the light. Look inside the memory slot and see if you can see any bent pins or anythign that is not uniform. There are 2 rows of pins and there whould not be any missing or out of place. It can be hard to see but if there is any that look closer together or laying over thats the problem. Its common and it happens fairly easy. Its best not to remove the card, even though people sugest using a card reader or to save battery life bent pins can trash a good camera.

SOURCE: The lens won't move the screen turn blue; D: 5f08 8234

The problem you are describing is a problem with a sensor in the lens assembly of the camera. It seems to have failed and needs to be replaced. Following are the instructions to send your camera to Olympus for service. http://olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_servicerepair.asp Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if beyond the one year factory warranty or the warranty is voided. The cost is $76 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.

Sounds like the software/firmware needs to be updated. Samsung will do it for $50 or you may be lucky enough to get a download off the web.

Using your preferred search engine, type YAHOO MAIL FORGOT PASSWORD and you may find some helpful tips.

If your mail suddenly stopped working, your account may have been hacked. Yahoo mail should have ways for you to get the account back using any questions you may have answered, alternate email address, text messaging, giving the last password you remember working.

I have a blue vertical flashing light showing just above the Dell emblem. In the past there has been a solid light. I have checked on OpenManager which indicates all is well but I do not like unexplained...

Great thanks,

That's just a system indicator flash. Solid blue means on and normal, blinking means someone either turned on the system indicator in the management software or bumped the indicator switch on the back of the server. This was designed to make easier transitions from back to front when working with multiple servers in a rack. To turn the indicator off, just go to the back of the server and find the Ethernet and usb ports that are together. If the usb is the bottom and Ethernet port is the top then just to the right you should see a small blue blinking light and a button, pushing the button wil turn the blinking off.

Again, no worries this is just a "locator beacon" not an error message, if the light ever blinks yellow then you have an issue.

Hope this helps FixYa,

Chris

Status indicator light stays on

if you go into menu and there should be a restore original setting or reset or something like that if not if you check the body of the camera there may be a hole saying reset put a pin in that while it is on and in camera mode and that might fix it

Turning camera on

Take it back to where you got it or send it to Kodak because this should be a warranty issue. I repair these camera's all the time and it should like 1 of 2 things main controller is not making proper connection or a cold solder joint and the connection is intermediately connection making it work once in a while I hope this help you decide on what to do.

MEMORY CARD ERROR

I will give you the steps that you can isolate whether memory card or the reader has malfunction. check the memory card with external card reader by connecting to computer if card really bad it will alert either error or unformatted (make sure write protection of the card is off if exist). When you format in computer successfully it can work in camera too. If issue persist in camera side you can try another card and next step will be hardware repair of camera reader. hope it will help.
Good Luck

Camera will not turn on.

Check the manual for indications of error. Look for a reset to factory settings option. Switch off and remove batteries Take the memory card out and carefully cleane the contacts, now wrap a piece of paper atround the card in such a way that you have a frip on the paper an insert it and work it up and down thus polishing the chamber contacts. No joy? Contact Fuji Technical help team.
