RE : Panasonic KX-TG6461 I installed this phone

RE : Panasonic KX-TG6461 I installed this phone last year, has been going great until this morning. There's no dial tone, just static noise. I contacted the phone line provider, did some troubleshooting and found that the phone line is ok, since i can make a call out and receive a call. I removed the splitter, connect the phone directly to the wall, still hearing the static noise. As is now, i can make a call out, but can't hear properly due to the static noise. Can you help ? Thanks & regards Kumala

Thats an hardware fail , you need a service shop to fix it

My Panasonic kx-tga552m phone will not stay registered to the base. As soon as I re-register it accepts it but then when I go to make call it won't respond. The battery appears charged but I have had the...

Leave the phone off the charger for a day without using it, then measure the voltage of the battery. Brand new is 3.6 V. If it's around 2.8 v or less, then it's time for a battery replacement. They usually only last 2-3 years. That doesn't guarantee a fix, but it's cheap and easy to give it a try.

Wow, that's a great record for any cordless phone! The battery probably only needs to be replaced. The battery can no longer hold a charge.

Panasonic kx-t7330 suddenly cannot use intercom and phone calls

I'm guessing the phone is 8 years old and you spilled something into the keystrip.

Start by unplugging it to see if it resets. Then, look for a mechanical failure (sticky buttons, broken buttons, etc.). Some alcohol and a Q-Tip will clean the buttons, or carefully take the phone apart and wash out the housing.

Last, but not least, any of the new 7730/31/35/36 phones will replace that set.

I had that once or twice on my phone. What I did was hit on, off, on, off, about 10 times. It quit for me. Digital stuff is great when it works. Pain in the @$$ when it doesn't. LOL

I have used a Panasonic KX-TH112 in my home for 3 or 4 years. Worked great until this morning, when the base no longer had a solid red light on the "answer on" button. Now, the red light blinks...

had a similar problem. exchanged power supplies between base unit and satellite unit.
