Generally touch are sensitive so it can damage easily when it hits to a hard substance and at the same time we could not repair so to fix this problem the only thing we can do is to change it.There my advise is to visit nearest mobile repairing shop.Good luck thanks for visiting fixya

the problem is with button of left key u have to repair it by opening the plastic body of the touch pad of the laptop there is a switch which has to be replaced if u can do it fine or visit a service technician

It's time to replace the keyboard -- it's much cheaper than taking the keyboard to a qualified technician, to try to get it repaired.

NO. this interface(touch pad), cannot be repaired. The only option is to replace it. The repair tech was correct, unfortunately.

The touch screen on Garmin Nuvi 660 is not working at all. It turns on, but when I touch the screeen, nothing happens. Could it be the battery. It was low, so I charged it for 45minutes, then the gps screen dimmed and turned off after just 10-15 minutes of "messing with it"

Touch pads are not very reliable. I have seen a lot fail.
A computer repair person will need to replace it for you.
My advice is to stick with a USB mouse. Or if it is under warranty, take advantage of that warranty.
