Im fixing a massey 265 and have replaced the fuel filter. how do you fill the filter with fuel? ive tried pumping the lift pump but doesnt seem to work!

Does it have a electric fuel pump ?Turn on key a few seconds 20 maybe,should send gas from pump;

On my massey ferguson tractor 255 The clutch suddenly will not engage therefore I cannot start the tractor because the high/low shifter is stuck in low gear. How do you suggest I get it out of gear?

Try rocking the thing back and forth with someone pulling on the shifter at the same time.

Replaced clutch on TE20 Diesel tractor but now can't start because gearbox stuck in first gear - what to do??

If you undo the 2 bolts that hold down the gear lever, you will see the selectors you can get the neutrol position but maniplating with a lage screwdriver. But make sure your clutch is working before you put it back into gear

Tractor wont start

Have you checked to see if there is dust round the gear shifts, maybe the clutch is wearing unabling you to change gears
