Incorrectly installed 'egames puzzle variety pack' three times

It’s difficult to say because engines make a wide variety of noises.
Rattling, possibly a worn timing chain.
Misfiring, possibly incorrect valve timing or damaged head gasket.
Metallic scraping, possibly a lack of oil pressure causing bearing to run dry.
Knocking, possibly worn mains or big end bearings.
Loud exhaust noise, possibly a blown exhaust manifold gasket.

There are a wide variety of possible noises and therefore a wide variety of possible causes

On your old PC that has the registered Variety Packs, under the C:\Windows folder you should be able to find the vp.cc1 file. Copy this over to your new PC's C:\Windows folder and copy there. It is a good idea to backup this vp.cc1 file since this little file tells the CreataCard program what variety packs you paid for!

You should be now be able to access the Variety Pack with the Variety Pack maintenance kit that is included with the program. That way you can install the addons directly to the hard-drive instead of running it off of CD.

Try running the installer in compatibility mode. Right click installer file, select troubleshoot compatibility

I just installed it tonight. (Yes, I have Vista.) Two of the games work great. All I did was right click the icon that was on my desktop (I made copies and put them on my desktop - the program didn't do this), clicked on properties, clicked on the tab called "compatibility", checked the box that said, "Run this program in compatibility mode for", and from the dropdown list, I chose Windows 98/Windows Me. Also, I had to temporarily disable Avast, and turn off "real time protection" on Microsoft Security Essential (I turned it back on after the games were installed.).

The games that work for me are Mahjongg Empire and Mahjongg Master 3. Rahjongg the Curse of Ra is being obnoxious (I came on here to find a solution) and the other one won't do anything, not even install. Anyway, I hope this helps you get at least the first two games installed.

For a download to download without any errors the ps3 has to stay on until the download has finished.

If you turn the ps3 off part way through a download and then turn it back on at a later date the download appears to just carry on from where it was, but it actually will give you an error message when you try to use the download.

The reason the time won't 'stick' is that the CMOS battery, a coin-type cell, is depleted. They last at least 3 years but anything beyond that is gravy. The most expensive of that type will still be under $10 US.  Radio Shack and even Wal-Mart carries a variety of them and there are only a couple of types used in PCs. 

i hate Vista as well. i am trying to find a solution. my whole life over the past couple of years is wrapped up in the eventminder and fmnot32 files but after installing Creatacard on my machine with Vista, it will not recognize the files.

i open my address book, it's empty. i open my calendar it too is empty. how can i get this program to recognize the files i copied from the old machine? PLEASE HELP! i've tried everything including dragging them both over at the same time (file plus .BAK). i don't know what else to do.
