When you print a document, some of the paragraphs are printed half only.
You need to mention is the half print occurring during a print out/scan /photocopy? Follow these steps to try and resolve the issue: Step one: Reset the printer Unplug the all-in-one USB cable from the computer. Verify the computer and the all-in-one have a three-prong power cord that connects to the power outlet. Unplug the all-in-one power cord from any power strips or surge protectors, and plug it directly into a wall outlet. Make a copy or scan, and see if the issue is resolved. If not, proceed to the next step. NOTE: If the scanner bulb is not lit during a copy or scan, the product needs service. Step two: Clean the glass and scanner backing Turn off the all-in-one. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Unplug the power cord from the back of the all-in-one. Raise the lid. Clean the glass with a soft dry cloth, or a sponge slightly moistened with non-abrasive glass cleaner or water. CAUTION: Do not use abrasives, acetone, benzene, or carbon tetrachloride on the glass; they can damage it. Do not place or spray liquid directly on the glass; the liquid might seep under the glass and damage the device. Dry the glass with a chamois, cellulose sponge or soft cotton cloth to prevent spotting. Clean the white scanner backing with a soft dry cloth or sponge slightly moistened with water, and allow it to dry. Step three: Try a blank copy Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet. Plug the power cord into the all-in-one. Turn the power on. Close the lid; do not place any paper on the glass. Load paper in the paper tray. Do either of the following: Press Start Copy Black to start a black-and-white copy job. Press Start Copy Color to start a color copy job. If the output is a full/half-black page, or has vertical black lines, the product needs service. Step four: Service the product If you have completed all of the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service your product.
