No power at all, trouble shooting says to reset the breaker, but no info on how to do it, any suggestions

There is a breaker box somewhere in your house or garage, or even outside where
Electric meter is. Find that and inside it there should be a 220v breaker for your dryer. Turn it completely off then back on. If that doesn't help, then there is an internal problem with the dryer.

Dryer not powering on

The second frying of the switch indicates a major problem somewhere. Start at the receptacle and work your way back to the inside of the dryer and see that everything is tight. I think you will find that the problem lies at where the wire ends at the block inside of the back of the dryer. This might be ugly. Dryers conduct a lot of heat and electricity and can be safe if wired properly. Your breaker may need to be reset. Turn it off and then back on to get it to start up.

My GE profile model dpgt750ec dryer will not turn on - checked breaker okay, light comes on inside the door, but no power when attempting to turn on

Recheck breaker turn the breaker all the way off and then reset the breaker. Then try a different cycle. like air only or something different than you normally use and see if it works then. Motor could be out or The control switch. Make sure you are looking at a double pole 220 breaker. hope this helps.

It doesn't work at all If your dryer doesn't work at all, it could be because of problems with: Power from the house Door switch Thermal fuse Wiring Power from the house Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? If you plug something else into the outlet, does it work? If not, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. Door switch If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. Thermal fuse On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse (a heat-sensitive fuse that blows if the dryer overheats) mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse is about an inch long. It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing

Turn the switch and nothing happens on the front loading dryer.

Reset the breaker first. If this does not fix the problem, you most likely have a bad thermal fuse inside the dryer. It could also be a bad door switch, broken element, bad thermal cut off. But I dont think so.

Calypso Senseon electric, No beeps, no lights, nothing,

If your dryer doesn't work at all, it could be because of problems with:

Power from the house
Door switch
Thermal fuse
Wiring
Power from the house Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer.

It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing.

If the fuse has blown, it has no continuity. When this happens, your dryer either just stops heating, or it doesn't work at all. Be sure to inspect the venting/heating system before replacing the fuse to put the dryer back into operation. (You can't re-set this type of fuse.)

Wiring Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, burns and the connection breaks. In this has happened to your dryer, you need to replace the power cord and the terminal block inside the dryer to which the wire is attached.

There is no circuit breaker in this dryer as such.
Establish that you have got power to the m/c, if you have, then could be faulty door switch, or you may have inadvertantly pulled a wire off somswhere.
Try the dryer in another socket and make sure you know that the fuse is a good one.

GE Dryer DBL333EAOWW

Did the Dryer work before? What led to this problem? Most Electric dryers work on 240 Volts. And have their own seperate circuit breaker, usually marked as "Dryer." So resetting just the main cuircuit breaker might not be enough. Did you reset the Dryer C. breaker?
