I just have had the same problem with my Aculaser C4200. I may have found a way to solve you problem. Just print 10 blank (without anything), and after that i took all toner's, the fuser etc. and put it back again. Printed 10 more blank pages, and printed over 200 pages with lot of tekst and colour (think that 50 pages could do it). After 2 days everything is still ok for me.
The E511 error for your Epson Aculaser in most cases means that its motor has malfunctioned or something is preventing the motor from working properly.
I also use a Mac, (OSX 10.3.9) does this printer show up in the list when you activate the Printer Setup Utility (PSU) Do you get any error message from the Mac such as Printing Stopped etc. What shows when you click on the PSU after clicking on print etc.
i had the same problem as you i feel very upset with epson that they did not help you for me what i had to do is lay my printer on its side with the door to the toner facing you taking the toner out looking down into the bottom you will see a little plastic block wist it half way till it stops then reinsert the toner becarefull not to drop it in that shoud be fully fitted inside then put the unit back the right side up and start the printer up this shpuld fix your problem ok thanks
Try cleaning your ink nozzles or ink jets. It sounds like you have a plugged nozzle or two. Your printer program should have maintenance options that allow you to test for plugged nozzles and clean them.
In control panel, open the printing/fax icon, right click on your printers icon, left click properties, then on the bottom of the page the panel that opens you will see a button that says printing preferences, and that should open your print program.
