Broken Power Adapter

The Power Adapter For My Insignia I-PD720 Portable DVD Player Has Broken. I need to Purchase a Replacement from the manufacturer but this is no longer made available as far as I can tell. Universal Power adapters don't Seem To come with 2.2 amps.

Lost the AC Adapter to plug in my Insignia I-PD720 DVD Player
Our parts supplier lists the AC adapter as unavailable, but an alternative may be available. I would recommend calling them at 1-888-237-8289 or carrying the unit in to the place of purchase or an electronic parts store to pursue an alternative.

Our only one month old portable insignia dvd player will not read any dvd...get message stating "loading" or no disc...Please advise
try clean the lens with cotton buds gently/smoothly...try audio cd or vcd to play if it will play and not playing if the disc is dvd...lens for replacement partially burnt

horizontal blue lines on lcd screen Screen has horizontal blue and black lines going a crossed it. It can play movies still but you can't make out the picture. Does any one know how to fix this? Also when I took the screen out there was a wire taped to the back of the lcd screen would this have anything to do with it?
