Sorry I'm reading your post so late. If you still are trying to turn on the player & can't, try carefully taking the back off and unplugging the battery from the hard drive for a few seconds. I had a similar problem & this rebooted it just fine. The battery probably needs to charge for awhile too. Hope this helps.

THESE TRACKS WERE ON IT BEFORE AND IT TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD. I HAVE TRIED CREATIVE BUT THEY WERE CRAP AND THERE EMAIL CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS A JOKE. NAPSTER TRIED TO HELP BUT AFTER 6 40 MIN CALLS STILL NOT WORKING THEY KEEP GOING OVER THE SAME THINGS. I HAVE TRIED WEBSITES LIKE THESE BUT TO NO AVAIL. DO YOU KNOW OF ANYTHING OR HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS, I AM A COPMPLETE TECHNOPHOBE BUT I WILL HAVE A GO.
