I get what you mean.. It has something to do with your monitor not being recognized by your computer. Reboot to safe mode (just go to safe mode you don't have to do anything) turn off your computer and wait some seconds and start your computer to normal mode. I hope this fix your problem... :)

Hello,

What do you mean that you were unable to get the native resolution of 1440x900? Are you saying that the resolution varries?

Since you mentioned that the mother board supports 1440x900, try to set the monitor resolution to that same resolution and then restart the computer.

If you will get the same problem, you have to make sure that the video card supports 1440x900 resolution.

My L194WT -SF WONT WORK NO POWER USED SAME POWER LEAD ON DIFFERENT MONITOR NO PROBLEM

Hello Steve,

The most common problem with the L194WT monitors is a failure of the power supply board. There are parts called capacitors that fail and can cause the issue you have. Sometimes the power light will just flash, sometimes it takes several minutes to display a picture or even a wavy picture, all of these issues indicate a failing power supply board. These boards can be repaired if you can do a little soldering. The L194WT uses the same power board as the L196WTQ and we have a step by step repair guide with dis-assembly instructions available at http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/lg-l196wtq-bf-lcd-monitor-repair/ Look over the guide and check your board to see if your capacitors have bulged and need to be replaced.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

I have SAMSUNG LCD 943 MWX monitor which is 19"

This is not a monitor problem. This is a mother board problem, some mother boards are supporting this resolution. For this problem, you have to replace the mother board or put the graphics card on the same mother board.your problem will solve.

I recently purchased and installed the P191W monitor, and now my pictures are stretched. I was told I new to get a new graphics card. What card should I get? Or can I just update the driver? I am running...

Find your monitor's native resolution, in your case it's 1440x900. Go to display settings (usually right-click on desktop and choose properties), go to settings tab and move the resolution slider until it shows 1440x900. Confirm, the screen should flicker for a moment and adjust - and you should be fine.
If there is no 1440x900 resolution available, then installing a monitor .inf file that came on a disk accompanying the monitor might help.

Distorted digital photos

Most likely the resolution of your desktop has and aspect ratio that in incorrect for your monitor. The native resolution of that monitor if 1440x900. Use the Windows (if using windows) desktop properties to set the desktop resolution to 1440x900.

1440x900 resolution required

check and make sure that you are using the Intel drivers and not the default windows xp drivers. The default drivers are very limited and only offer a few different resolutions to choose from.
