There are JVC software updates and camera checking software...These can be found only at an authorized JVC service. Anyway, did you drop it?

Hi , There are several causes possible :
1° Try burning at the lowesrt speed possible to avoid errors ;
2° Maybe you have purchased neww blancos and maybe they come from another manufacturer .
3° Your burning device is out of order or the firmware is outdated . Check on the manufacture's site to verify available updates .
4° Try burning with another device . Borrow a friend's external writer for instance .
5° Try ripping and burning withe another software . DVDFab HD Decrypter is one of the best and some of it's package tools are freeware .

How do i use cyberlink

Am not so sure if Cyberlink power dvd is capable of copying disc. I believe this software is just for video playback.

To copy pictures from a disc just navigate to My Computer then select the DVD Drive. Right click on the DVD Drive/optical drive then select open.

From there right click on the file or folder that you want to copy then select copy. Paste it to a folder on your computer.

hope this helps . . .

I hv lost the cd which comes with jvc hard disk camcorder gz-mg130e/ek i cannot find it on the net ..where shall i find it??

The software that comes in the box with the camcorder is a Cyberlink Bundle of Power Producer, Pwer Director and Poxwer Cinema... Power Cinema allows you view your DVD's while the other 2 allows for editing and production of you movie title and backing up and browsing your titles Pics and movies..... Unfortunately you cant download this software anyware on the net for free. On the Cyberlink.com you can download a free 30 day trial to the software but would eventually have to purchase a new copy.

There is an alternate way to access you mivies in the meantime... by changing the the file extension to .mpg after you drag and drop your files off you computer to you desktop or selected folder.

Steps:

1. Connect you usb to you computer and camcorder
2. Camcorder ask do you want to playback, backup, create dvd, direct print.... Choose playback
3. Option pops up on your computer.. Select "Take No Action"
4. Go into My Computer and open the E: or Everio_HDD
5. >>For movies- Select SD-Video - Folder PRG002 or PRG001 are where your movie files is located
Drag and drop .MOD files to your desktop **.MOI files are indexes of the .MOD files and will not convert **

>>For Pictures- Select DCIM - Folder 101JVCSO or 100JVCSO - Drag and Drop to desktop - NO FILE CONVERSION NECESSARY

6. Change the file extension to .MPG

** If you find yourself haveing issues changing the file extension, open my computer... select tools... go to folder options.... uncheck "Hide extension for known file types", check it back when your finished if you have kids.. I do for my computer.***

**You are simply creating copies of your files when you drag and drop you movies and pics***

These step will allow you to view back you movies using Windows Media Player until you get your software.

Hope this helps

Jvc power cinema NE for everio digital video camera, no sound on dvds??

Hi,

I had a similar problem, I could play videos on my PC but they had no sounds.
I found a solution

In theory *.Mod Files contains mpeg format for the video and AC3 format for the sound.

In my case I was missing the codec fot AC3 format.

I downloaded one here:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ac3_filter.htm

And it worked
