"A possible VRM 0 has occurred"

VRM = Voltage Regulator Module

Here is what the motherboard looks like,

[Note* Posted for photo reference only. Not for advertising.
Besides, I do not see any VRM's plugged in. Means you get the motherboard only, and no VRM's. You need a VRM ]

What the Voltage Regulator Module looks like,

http://www.thebestpartinc.com/kg229.html

(Again, not for advertising. Click on the photo of the VRM to enlarge)

Notice that your motherboard has two VRM's. This is because there are two Processors.
Apparently the VRM for one of your Xeon processors is bad. (Z-on)

Since it states VRM -> 0, it is for the Processor 0, or in the number 1 processor socket.

What does a Voltage Regulator Module do for a Processor?
Regulates voltage.

A Processor MUST have a steady, 'clean' supply of voltage, AND it must be within the voltage range for the processor.

Since the motherboard uses an Intel E7525 motherboard chipset, it can support Intel Xeon processors, with up to an 800MegaHertz Front Side Bus. (800MHz FSB)

Looking at a typical Intel Xeon single-core processor, with an 800MHz FSB, let me show you it's voltage requirements,

1.287 to 1.400 (DC)

May be just a bad VRM.

However, I would also like you to look at the Electrolytic Capacitors on the motherboard. From what I have seen, those motherboards are notorious about having capacitors go bad.

We need To Install Another Processor But The 2nd Slot Doesn't Work To new one That Work In the other slot

hi,
Welcome to Fixya
By the way have you purchased the VRM module . If you are about to upgrade the server with second processor you should have VRM also . Without VRM , the second process wouldn't work and it will light out amber LED(Orange) . Now If you have VRM then just swap the processor and check. That is check whether the second processor works while insert it in first processor slot. If it works then it relates to motherboard issue .

Thanks

Need driver for ibm web cam vp610xv. Lost cd. thanks

Hi,Sorry been away for a while
just wanted to make sure that you guys were using windows XP
and that the driver you downloaded was from this link
http://www.geekstogo.com/downloads/ibmv5000w2kxp.exe
Am pretty sure the above is the right driver
A message may have come up about digital driver signing not ot worry about this think, that the drivers were originally written for Win2000 but will work in XP, if the above link didn't work it seems others have encountered the same prob and as a result somone wrote this guide for installing the camera in XP
http://www.camerahacker.com/WebCam/IBM_PC_Camera.shtml
though it looks a tad complicated
noticed you guys were thinking of possibly buying a different webcam, take a look at the
MIcrosoft Webcam LifeCam vx-1000
or the Logitech Quickcam E 3500 on a google search, both easy to install and reasonably priced

DDS-5 not compatible with windows 2008

I am pretty sure that the driver should be compatible with win08.

If you are using backup exec then try switching to use symantec drivers for your tape drive (setting withing BUEX)

If it is just the tape that cant be read or identified and was backed up using windows backup then try restoring the backup on a 2003 server and then copying the data across the network.

Its not booting and the Leds VRM and NMI are with amber color

VRM and NMI lights lit usually indicate an issue with CPU #2's VRM which can be replaced. Also check 5 lights on back middle of system. If VRM light is lit here remove CPU 2 and VRM and reboot system. If system boots, this was the issue...

Video controller disabling

That model server comes with onboard video. If you wish to use a PCI video card then all you have to do is place it in the server and the BIOS will automatically disable the onboard. If it currently has a PCI video card in it, just remove the PCI card and you should get the onboard video again. Hope this helps.
