Runs well up to 3500 rpm the sputters and dies . Can easily restart and run well at 2800 to 3000 rpm

Check for vacume leak including intake. Spray some carb cleaner around intake and vacume hoses and listen for engine rpm to change.

fuel pump, or filter or bad injector.

Some Honda's have slow running (below 3500 rpm) coils and fast running over (3500 rpm) coils. they are behind the engine cover on the side but could be at the front, depending on the bike. Sounds like your slow running coil is breaking or broken.

check you have good earthing points, also check the earthing strap from engine to shell. main earthing point follow the negative lead it will go to the shell.

possible plug cables arcking out.

its your idyll. You need to turn up the gas flow to the fuel injection or the carburetor.

Sounds like you need a tune up with new air and fuel filter.

1st run scans for fault codes.

Your fuel filter is blocked and not allowing enough fuel through. Replace the fuel filter, and the problem should go away.

either the fule filter is clogged or the fuel pressure regulator is bad, and when is the last time you had a complete tune up?
